Murton Neighbourhood Plan submission consultation
We're consulting on the Murton Neighbourhood Plan as Murton Parish Council submitted the Submission Version Murton Neighbourhood Plan and associated documents to City of York Council on 16 October 2024. Once a Neighbourhood Plan is submitted, we're required to "publicise the documents submitted on our website and in such other manner as we consider is likely to bring the proposal to the attention of people who live, work or carry on business in the neighbourhood area" to be in compliance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations (2012, as amended).
Take part in the Murton Neighbourhood Plan submission consultation.
The consultation closes on Friday 20 December 2024.
Our second budget consultation
We want all York residents to take part in our second budget consultation. This is your chance to have a say in how York’s money is spent. We want to make sure the services you need continue, even though we have a £30 million money gap.
We want to know your views on our plans to raise money, save costs, and keep key services running. Your feedback will help shape the final budget. Your responses will inform decisions but are not votes to adopt or reject a measure. We’ve aimed for clear communication to ensure that everyone can understand and take part.
Take part in our second budget consultation
This consultation will close on Wednesday 1 January 2025.

The results of the consultation will be included in a report to be taken to a Decision Session in early 2025. The report will make recommendations regarding the introduction of the PSPO and the prohibitions to be included within it.

Survivor Voice Survey
We're capturing victim voice through several different channels across the city. We're hoping to establish a group of adult victim survivors to gather an in-depth local picture of some key issues within York. Specifically, we're seeking to gain an insight into the journey from the recognition of being in an abusive situation to then telling somebody else about it (disclosure) and then the process of accessing support.
Take part in the Survivor Voice Survey.
