Fixed Penalty Notices for dog fouling

If you fail to clean up after your dog you're committing a criminal offence under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 and could be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN).

We patrol local areas to proactively monitor dog fouling and use signs to highlight the fines you'll face if you fail to clean up after your dog.

FPNs cannot be issued in respect of other pets which are free-roaming, such as cats.
