Our Housing Local Offer lets you know the level of service you can expect from us.
The Tenant Scrutiny Panel have worked with senior officers to review these standards and agreed the service. They have focussed the local offer on 4 key service areas which they believe are important to tenants:

Energy efficiency
We will:
- bid for government funding for energy efficiency measures to support you to live in warm homes
- identify homes with the highest need for and install energy efficiency measures
- identify and tackle sources of fuel poverty and incorporate ways to reduce these.
- aim to get most council homes to EPC Band C standard by 2028
We ask you to:
- work with us to get the most up to date information on the energy efficiency of your home when we ask
Repairs
We will:
- make an appointment with you when necessary
- keep the appointment or ring you to rearrange
- aim to complete the repair on our first visit
We ask you to:
- report your repairs as soon as possible
- be at home for the arranged appointment or ring us to rearrange
Tenant engagement
We will:
- use a variety of ways to listen, communicate and engage with you.
- involve you in shaping the services you receive
- listen to your feedback and act on your good ideas
We ask you to:
- give us your feedback on our services
- encourage your neighbours to give their feedback
- complete any surveys/consultations we send to you
Value for money
We will:
- review all our contracts to make sure we are getting best value before retendering
- manage our contractors so they deliver value for money
We ask you to:
- give suggestions to improve the area you live
