Federation of Small Businesses
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has a selection of free articles for small business owners on mental health and wellbeing.

Health and Safety Executive
Whether you’re a small business or a large corporation, the law requires all employers to prevent work related stress to support good mental health in the workplace.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have launched the Working Minds campaign, which brings together a range of tools and support to help businesses and workers understand the best ways to prevent work related stress and encourage good mental health.
This includes a talking toolkit for employers, a guide for workers to spot stress and sector specific guides.

Live Well York
Live Well York is a community website for people in York. They've got information on subjects ranging from mental health, cost of living, digital inclusion, to alcohol and wellbeing and much more.
There’s also a directory of community activities including:

Menfulness
Menfulness is a men’s social wellbeing group offering events, activities, and counselling, aiming to combat the stigma around men's mental health.

York Ending Stigma
York Ending Stigma (YES) are a group of York residents, employers, and employees coming together to share their mental health experiences through a variety of means to help end mental health stigma and discrimination in York.
YES are working on ending mental health stigma and discrimination in workplaces and offer a host of free resources to support employers. This includes their free self-assessment tool that aims to progress an employer’s journey to a mental health stigma-free workplace and can be used no matter how large or small your organisation.
York Mind
York Mind are providing free mental health support for businesses in York during May and June 2023.
Training
150 places are available on a free mental health and wellbeing training course. The training consists of 2 2-hour sessions and a half-day workshop where participants will learn how to create a mentally healthy workplace, understand mental health first aid, and get tips for personal wellbeing.

Knowledge Hub
York Mind have developed a knowledge hub which will hold a bank of mental health and wellbeing content for businesses to freely access. The content can be used support the implementation of a wellbeing strategy for staff as well as support business owner’s needs. This content includes:
- webinars
- short videos
- leaflets
- posters
- blog posts
- links to other useful resources
The knowledge hub is free to access for 6 months. After the 6 month-period, the hub will become a paid service and users will have the choice to continue subscribing.
