New private hire operator licences
As all new 'private hire' applications are checked by our planning department, you must provide details of where vehicles will be parked.
If planning permission is required, applicants must obtain it before licences are issued.
Buying an existing business
If you buy an existing private hire business, you must still complete an application form and pay the relevant fee for a new licence.
Naming restrictions
Artwork for the company 'side plates' must be submitted to us for approval before we issue an operator's licence.
