Residents' Associations areas
There are many Residents' Associations across the city, each with a geographically defined area - which is distinct from the areas set out by York wards.
Each Residents' Association page includes a map of the area covered by that Association.
You can join a Residents' Association if you live within its boundaries, regardless of whether you're a council tenant, private tenant or a homeowner.
If there isn’t a residents’ association in your area and you are interested in setting up a new Community or Residents' Association, contact our Housing Equalities and Engagement Facilitator for advice.
Contact us if you are unsure which Association area you are in.
