If you're a landlord receiving payments of Housing Benefit, you can view payment information and current claim status, and check elements of your tenant's claim online using the Citizens Access Landlord Portal.
Citizens Access Landlord Portal
As a Landlord receiving Housing Benefit direct, the portal will allow you to:
- access electronic copies of your payment schedules
- check current claim information for tenants you receive payments for
This will include:
- current claim status
- entitlement history
- payment history
You can only see details of claims which you are responsible for.
Register for the Citizens Access Landlord Portal
This is a secure self-service system, and an individual from your organisation will be issued with a username and password. They'll be then able to set up accounts for anyone else within your organisation who requires access.
If your organisation receives benefit payments and wishes to register, send a request by email to: technical@york.gov.uk.
If you're unable to access your account online, contact our Customer Services Team, who will be able to assist you over the phone or by appointment at West Offices.
