The enforcement of the 2010 Building Regulations is known as 'building control'; it ensures the buildings where we live, work and visit are safe structures.

We're sorry, due to resourcing issues and a significant backlog of work, you can expect our Building Control work and related communications to be delayed.

It's a legal requirement to submit a building control application if the work you want to do is classed as building work.
