Latest councillor induction programme
York's councillor induction programme, endorsed by the Audit and Governance Committee, is a calendar of sessions crucial in providing support and guidance to help familiarise members of City of York council with the role to which they've been newly elected in recent local elections.
Councillors must register to attend induction sessions using their council email address (provided on 'Day 1' of the induction programme); a learning record is kept as progress through the training is made, and for convenience, all materials and online learning is available to download.
