A lively, small site hidden behind housing opposite to Carr Junior School. All allotment tenants have their own key to the entrance gate on Ostman Road.

As this site has a secure boundary it has few internal boundary fences and the open character helps tenants to get to know each other. Tenants meet informally on site once a month and organise occasional barbeques. Experienced gardeners are happy to help newcomers with gardening advice.
