Honeysuckle House is situated in the heart of Dringhouses. It is situated next to a grassed park area with local shops across the road including a post office, pharmacy and local shop.

Acorn Rugby and Sports club is only a short walk away. Close by is York and District indoor bowls club, which is situated on Thanet Road.

Energise Gym is 15 minutes away and you can enjoy a nice leisurely swim or make use of the gym area with the latest equipment. You can book classes from high intensity to Zumba Gold, a dance exercise aimed at the over 50s, which is good fun and enjoyable.

West Thorpe Methodist church is just five minutes away.

The local GP surgery is Woodthorpe and Dringhouses Surgery, on Moorcroft Road.

The scheme is close to direct bus routes to Acomb and to York, with buses running every 10 minutes.

Tenants' meetings are held regularly every two months so tenants can share ideas and thoughts on how to help make sure Honeysuckle House suits the needs of everyone.
