This form is to apply for a temporary road or footpath closure, or a speed or weight restriction, in York.
The minimum notice period that our Highway Regulation Team require to approve and process a closure request depends on the type of request you are making:
- for a road or footpath closure, speed restriction, or weight restriction the required notice period is 12 weeks
- for a social or community event the required notice period is 6 weeks
- emergency Temporary Traffic Regulation Order requests can only be made if the restriction is required within the next 5 days
Please be aware that our system will 'time out' after 10 minutes spent on each page of this application.
