We provide temporary accommodation to people who meet all of the following criteria:
- have had a homelessness assessment
- completed a personal housing plan and are eligible
- are homeless
- are believed to be in priority need
According to your circumstances, you will stay in either:
- a hostel
- a bed and breakfast
- self-contained accommodation
It is your responsibility to pay any related rent and amenity charges.
Help will be given to claim Housing Benefit and Universal Credit where relevant. This will cover all or part of your rent but not any other charges (such as gas and electric), known as personal contributions.
Everyone who is homeless and in temporary accommodation will have a support worker to help them at this difficult time. Your support worker will guide you through the process of finding and keeping future accommodation and help you with budgeting, debt advice, independent living skills, tenancy management and completion of the actions on your personal housing plan.
