Welcome to iTrent Human Resources (HR) Self Service, the web-based system which allows City of York Council employees to view and, in some cases, update some of the information held on the City of York Councils Human Resources database, iTrent.
iTrent is available to all council employees. HR will inform you of your username and password when you have access.
Log in to iTrent Self Service

First time log in

The first time you log in you can:
- set up your eform preferences - provide an email address where your electronic payslip will be sent, you will also need to set up a secure password to enable you to open the payslip from the email you receive
- set up your memorable information - set your memorable information. This will be used if you forget your username or password in the login screen
- check your personal details - check that your personal details are correct on iTrent and update where required. Here you are also able to check and update your sensitive information
If you have yet to receive your login details and believe you should have already received them, email: payrollservices@york.gov.uk.
Problems logging in
If you need to reset your password, use the 'Forgotten Password' link on the login page. If you do not receive a password reset email, log a case using the ICT Self Service icon on your desktop and search for ‘iTrent’.
