Apply for the attendance parking permit
The attendance parking permit is issued free of charge.
If you've not already done so, you'll need to create an account by registering your details in the Permit Portal.
You should register as Customer Type: Resident.
If you're the applicant (the person receiving care) you'll need:
- a valid email address
- a copy of your current council tax bill, if you don't wish for your council tax details to be checked automatically
- one of the following
- a statement from your doctor, confirming that you need substantial and regular care
- evidence that you are in receipt of Attendance Allowance, such as a recent entitlement letter
If you're a carer applying on behalf of the applicant you'll need:
- a valid email address
- the address of the property that you are attending
- a statement from a doctor, stating that the resident needs substantial and regular care, or evidence that the resident is in receipt of Attendance Allowance, such as a recent entitlement letter
- a copy of the current council tax bill for the property
Register or log in to Permit Portal
Once your account is set up, you'll be able to apply for any permits which are available for your address.
