Using the Badger Hill resident permit
The Badger Hill resident permit is vehicle specific.
This is a digital permit and no physical permit will be issued.
There's no need to display a permit in your vehicle; our Civil Enforcement Officers use number plate recognition to confirm if vehicles are covered by a valid permit.
The permit can't be used in conjunction with any business activities relating to the registered address and can only be used by the permit holder, or a friend or family member visiting the property where the permit is registered.
Once registered on our digital Permit Portal, you will also be able to apply for additional, paid for permits depending on your requirements and your property type, such as:
- additional household parking permits - if you want permits for more than 1 vehicle
- household visitor parking permits - for visitors to your property
- additional house in multiple occupancy parking permits - if you live in an HMO and want permits for more than 1 vehicle
- house in multiple occupancy visitor parking permits - for visitors to your property if you live in an HMO
When changing the vehicle connected to any additional, paid for permits, a top-up payment or a pro rata refund may be due for the remaining period of cover, dependent on whether the old or new vehicles are eligible for a discount.
