We offer school bus passes to pupils attending their 'catchment school' but do not live within a safe walking distance.
These passes may be for dedicated home to school bus services or for public service routes.
- York Pullman Bus Company provide our dedicated home to school bus services. Contact the York Pullman Bus Company with queries about timetables, new or lost passes and purchasing a concessionary place on a school bus for your child
- iTravel York has information on public service buses covering areas that are not served by our dedicated home to school bus service
When we allocate school places we will automatically contact those pupils who we think are eligible for help with travel to school.

If you have been allocated the following catchment school, and you live in the following areas, you may be eligible for assistance with transport.
The following services are provided by York Pullman Bus Company. If you think you may be eligible for one of these services, please contact us ensuring that you include your child’s name, date of birth, address and allocated school. We will then assess your eligibility and advise you accordingly. If you are eligible you will also be asked to provide a suitable photograph for a bus pass.
