Each ward has a budget to spend on local priorities.
For 2024 to 2025 the ward budget allocation is as follows:

Consultations and decisions on funding happen at ward committee meetings and through surveys and councillor surgeries.
You can attend a local surgery to speak to your councillors, ask questions and raise any issues you have.
- Bowls Pavilion, West Bank Park - 9.30am to 11.00am every first Saturday of the month
- St Barnabas Church, Jubilee Terrace - 9.30am to 11.00am every third Saturday of the month
- Lindsey Avenue, at the junction with Sowerby Road, YO26 4RL - outside the Housing Office with Citizens Advice and supporting staff from the council, 11.00am to 1.00pm, every second Friday of the month
