Director of Public Health's Annual Report 2024 to 2025
The Director of Public Health's Annual Report 2024 to 2025 looks at the health of adolescents in York.
Whilst it celebrates the contributions and achievements of York’s young people, the report also hopes to shine a light on some of the issues they may face, and the necessary actions to help overcome these.
Previous annual reports
The 2023 to 2024 Annual Report looked into the role York’s Public Health team has in protecting residents of all ages from the health consequences of domestic abuse, both short-term and long-term.
Please note that this report contains information on domestic violence.
The 2020 to 2022 Annual Report looked into the COVID-19 pandemic, which heavily impacted York City.
This report not only reflects on York’s response to COVID-19, but also draws on local accounts from previous disease outbreaks, such as cholera and the Black Death, to highlight the differences and similarities of past outbreak responses.
