Other charges for Hackney Carriage fares
A premium of 'Standard rate plus £2.00' applies to Hackney Carriage fares on Bank Holidays, from 7.00am on the day of the Bank Holiday until 5.00am the next day.
Extra charges apply for additional passengers:
- 3rd and 4th passenger: £0.50 each (no charge for children under 12)
- multi-seat, 5 or more passengers: premium rates apply (no extra charge for 3rd and 4th person)
Luggage carried in boot: £0.50 per item (£1 maximum charge)
Fouling of vehicle interior: maximum £90.00 (applies to alcohol-induced fouling, and in all cases when the night tariff applies)
