Trading on behalf of a charity
Apply for charitable fête or gala trading consent if you're holding or taking part in an event such as a charitable fête or gala:
- one occasional street trading licence will be required for all charitable traders
- send your completed form to Licensing Services with the appropriate fee
- give seven days' notice where possible
- other 'commercial traders' taking part will need to apply for consent individually
If you wish to trade on behalf of a charity (at the charity stall area) in York city centre, you need to seek permission from Licensing Services.
