Self-funding care and support within the community
We can arrange non-residential care for people that are self-funding.
You will be asked to complete a financial assessment: we'd normally request a 'light touch' financial assessment to confirm you have savings more than the 'higher capital limit' and sign a declaration. You can request a full financial assessment. In any event, we'll check that you're receiving all benefits and allowances you're entitled to.
There is an administrative charge for any provision of care through a council contract, payable annually in advance. This covers our costs for:
- paying your care provider
- collecting your contribution
- arranging your care
- undertaking quality monitoring of the care you receive
