Consultations about Tadcaster Road improvements
City of York Council and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority held a consultation to invite views on this scheme in August and September 2021.
The consultation related to £1.4 million proposed walking, cycling and bus improvements and was held to inform the next stage of creating more detailed designs.
In June 2022, a further localised consultation was held, relating to revisions to the initial scheme proposal, particularly in the vicinity of Slingsby Grove shops showing a revised location for the pedestrian crossing.
The West Yorkshire Combined Authority Your Voice website will continue to display details of proposals and consultation outcomes.
Ahead of the main construction phase, drop-in sessions were held in November 2022 and in January 2023 to update residents, key stakeholders and businesses about the works and what the scheme will look like.
