We're supporting the taxi trade in York by encouraging more people to become taxi drivers in the city.
Being a licensed taxi driver means that you:
- are your own boss
- work the hours you want, when you want
- control your earnings
- help people travel safely around the city
Drivers can licence their own vehicle, or they can contact local operators to see what help is available to drive one of their vehicles.
