How we process parking suspension applications
We require time to assess your application before it can be granted.
As part of this assessment, we'll check whether:
- the parking suspension you have requested is on the adopted highway
- the suspension will cause unnecessary impact to other users of the adopted highway
- we are satisfied that the reason given for the suspension is valid, proportionate and reasonable
- your plans conflict with any outstanding works, closures or suspensions within the adopted highway, or any other planned works
- your suspension is likely to displace residential parking permit holders, and what alternative measures can be put in place to mitigate this disruption
You should not assume that your application has been granted if we haven't responded.
