York Youth Council represents the voice of young people in our area; they campaign to influence decision makers, and have involvement with UK Youth Parliament.

Our aim is to have at least two youth councillors from every secondary school in York to guarantee adequate representation of all.
York Youth Council is affiliated with the UK Youth Parliament, the Member of Youth Parliament for York is required to sit as a Youth Councillor during their office.
