The Home Energy Efficiency Team is pleased to announce our new Local Energy Advice Demonstrator (LEAD) Home Energy Advice Scheme for Conservation Area and Listed Property Owners.
If you ‘re worried about rising bills, staying warm in your own home, or even lowering your carbon footprint but don’t know where to start, this scheme is for you!
The LEAD Home Energy Advice Scheme will provide York owners of conservation-area and listed properties with detailed advice, including:
- a thorough insight into the current condition of your property and the best ways to keep your home healthy via insulation, renewable heating and ventilation
- information on how to complete planning permission applications and gain listed property consent
- information on current market prices, deals and grant schemes
- information on the most up-to-date technology available in the energy sector
To benefit from this scheme, you must:
- be an Owner Occupier or Landlord
- own a property within a York conservation area or own a listed property
- have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of D or below - if you reside in a conservation-area or listed property but do not have an existing Energy Performance Rating, please contact us as we may be able to undertake a new EPC assessment for you, subject to availability.
