How to comment on the consultation
This consultation is focused on the Proposed Main Modification to Policy H5 of the Local Plan. Comments must address matters of soundness. Please read the Statement of Representations Procedure and Guidance note for further detailed guidance on how to submit your representations to the Council and what you must consider when preparing them.
The consultation runs from Thursday 18 July until Friday 30 August 2024 at 11.59pm. Consultation documents are available:

- by appointment at the Council’s West Offices, Station Rise, York, YO1 6GA. Contact the Strategic Planning Team at localplan@york.gov.uk or 01904 552255 to make arrangements.

We encourage you to use a format that is provided, which will help the Planning Inspectors consider your comments. However you choose to respond, in order for the Inspectors to consider your comments you must provide your name and address with your response. We also need your confirmation that you consent to our privacy policy as set out in the Local Plain Main Modifications Privacy Notice.
Please note:
- comments can only be made on the consultation documents
- this is not the opportunity to make comments on other aspects of the Plan
