Other important issues around sexual health
The final question asked for any things we’d not considered that are important to responder’s sexual health needs. Less than half gave comments.
These are copied in full in the York sexual and reproductive health services provision consultation report Appendix, with feedback.
The common themes amongst these responses included:
- high praise for the sexual health service provider and the service they provide
- the importance of a mixed economy of access; appointments, walk-in, emergency appointments, opening hours to include weekends and evenings
- the negative impact of service changes on women
- importance of services for young people and those that need it most
