Anyone included in the Register of Electors can apply for a postal vote.
To apply for a postal vote you must:
- already be registered to vote, or have applied to be added to the electoral register
- have your identity confirmed at the time of your application
- provide your NIN in your application; if you cannot provide your NIN you'll be asked to submit appropriate documents which prove your identity
