Replacement wheelie bins
Contact us by telephone: 01904 551551, to order new and replacement wheeled bins, for:
- household waste (except those properties using black bags/sacks for collections)
- garden waste (if you've subscribed to our garden waste subscription scheme).
We’ll aim to deliver wheelie bins within 10 working days of your order.
Upon delivery, we advise you to label your wheelie bins with your house number and street name.
If you're awaiting the delivery of a household waste (black) bin, you can present up to 3 black bags/sacks on your scheduled collection day - ensure the bags are sturdy (not kitchen bin liners) and securely tied.
If you're awaiting the delivery of a garden waste (green) bin, we cannot collect bags; take your garden waste to Hazel Court HWRC or Towthorpe/Strensall HWRC, or see tips and advice on home composting.
Cost of wheelie bins
Our wheelie bin costs:
- standard garden waste (green) bin, 180 litres: included in garden waste subscription scheme
- standard household waste (black) bin, 180 litres: £53.00
- 240 litre household waste (black) bin: £59.50 (upgrade criteria applies; see: Get a bigger bin)
- 360 litre household waste (black) bin: £68.00 (upgrade criteria applies; see: Get a bigger bin)
We can only accept Visa or MasterCard.
We don't provide black sacks (bin bags).
Get a bigger bin
You can only request and pay for a bigger wheelie bin if the size of your household meets certain criteria:
- 180 litre bin - standard for households of 1 to 4 people
- 240 litre bin - households of 5 people are eligible
- 360 litre bin - households of 6 or more people are eligible

- cannot collect bags of waste from wheeled bin collection areas
