Working with communities and partners

As part of our community commitments at Duncombe Square, our contractor Caddick, our consultants and the council’s Housing Delivery team volunteered to build 2 large timber planters at the St Luke’s Church on Friday 13 of October 2023. St Luke’s is next door to the Duncombe Square site.

The materials were donated by Caddick and their suppliers. The team got to work clearing waste and levelling the ground, while another team measured the timber and cut it to length. Meanwhile, 2 members of Caddick team-built brick piers upon which two stone slabs were laid to create 2 beautiful garden benches.

The 2 planters were built and were filled with compost and plants. Members of the church community arrived to inspect the work and were very pleased with the results. The new planters and benches can now be enjoyed for years to come.

Tenant Scrutiny and Performance Panels

The Tenant Scrutiny Panel meet monthly and provide valuable customer insight into our services. As part of this process they will be starting to undertake ‘Mystery Shopping’ to help us improve the service we offer.
